I’m currently the Senior Mechanical Project Manager with an engineering consulting firm in Ottawa overseeing the expansion and renovation of the Montfort Hospital. With the high stress level of the consulting engineering and construction field, I’ve re-kindled my love of nature and photography with a digital camera which permits me to slow down and follow nature’s rhythm. My love of photography started at a young age when I was given a Kodak – Brownie No 2 and I still remember trying to figure out why the images in the view finder were always upside down. This one was followed by the 110 film Kodak camera with rotary flash cube, hey it fit in the pocket try that with the Brownie. Then high school came around and I got a 35mm a Minolta X-700 with it came the dark room fun in school as part of the photography club but the cost to buy new equipment, film and developing brought the camera out for the special occasion only. Today with the introduction of the digital cameras and workflow, I’ve got too many lenses and an empty wallet, but the joy of taking photos is back in full force.
