The new club year starts in September. Meetings start at 9:30 a.m.

2008 - 2009

May 08   This Saturday Michael Scott will lead a workshop on the basics of controlling light that every camera uses: common camera controls (including point and shoots) and how a camera light meter works, and why you can't trust it, and well have a discussion on shooting creatively.

Weather permitting, we can go outside to try out some of the techniques, and then come back in to see the results. (Hmm, not sure how that will work with film :-)

... Remember, it's at the new downstairs location.

April 08   Our April meeting will be a Critique session; members are encouraged to submit a minimum of two photos each for review by your peers. The beauty of this session is it does not matter if you are a beginner or advance photographer as each photos are evaluated for there own content. Individuals will provide opinions on the photo presented, these opinions / critiques are a way to improve and expand your photographic view of your own images. For the beginner photographer don't be shy and be sure to submit your photos as we all have been there and you will find it educational and informative; there is no such thing as a bad photo, its just a different view point right???
